Probably the deepest recalled dreams can be had in the weekend just after jog and food (probably the food and the sleep more than makes up for most of the beneficial effects of jogging but thats an aloof point for the current discussion).
No time to write or recall too much details, but this one was particularly "filthy" in the sense described below. Some persons around (I cannot possibly be more specific here) , lets call them X, make me feel that my residence is not "cool". I acknowledge that there are some problems with my place of residence -- like smaller windows, leaving it not much airy. But which house does not have problems? I am happy here and thats what matters. Indeed I am so happy that I want to buy it from the owners, except that this is not a straightforward decision to make.
I recently read that Dali used the depiction of faeces in his paintings to denote messiness. In the current dream faeces was an element in the composition, in the context of messy toilets -- the kind we had experience with at our college. These toilets were like medieval museums. Each faucet, and each commode had its own peculiar characteristics. They were like a box of chocolates in the sense you don't know what you will find next. I sincerely hope for the current students that the authorities have renovated all the toilets.
My subconscious seems to have covertly composed the present state of my residence (rather the image in my mind about the image of my house in X's mind) and the thing I read about Dali's paintings.

My Choked Voice When I Got Terribly Stuck
I am going into a room with an accomplice. I do not fully recall who the accomplice was, and what room we went to. I have a suspicion that these two notions were abstracted away in the dream. I will use the term "absent-abstracted" for such things.
Definition. An absent-abstracted thing is something that, I have a suspicion (obviously, after waking up, as there is no way I know of for writing when asleep), was abstracted away in the dream.
If somebody were to assign a meaning to the dreams -- "the dream is a message to you from your subconscious", the absent-abstracted thing is used by the subconscious to generalize or add ambiguity to a notion.
Back to the dream. As soon as I entered the room, I happened to accidentally touch a shoulder-high metal-based mesh, which looked like a container for goods. Now this metal-mesh was melting hot and I got stuck with it. I do not recall feeling pain due to the heat and burns, but I got terribly stuck. I got an instantaneous image in my dream-mind of scars on a body but that was all by way of effect of the stucking.
As I tried to separate myself from the metal-mesh, I moved backwards. But there was another metal-mesh behind me to which I got stuck again. But this time I was able to easily unstuck from this one.
The thing that pricked after waking up, which is sometimes also the thing that surprises us the most by its awful occurrence, is that my voice choked completely as I called for help. I have a self-image of having a low voice, but now the voice was barely audible to me. Another thing to note is that my accomplice does not seem to have heard me at all. Probably he got stuck himself (but I don't know about that) or he just went on.
The next thing is predictable: because of the pain of my choked voice I woke up. Now only a Zen Master of Dreams can go back to his or her previous dream and I am not one.

Inception
The Inception of this blog is inspired by the movie "The Inception". This movie exploits the idea of "dream" to build a whole movie. There are dreams within dreams within dreams and so on. These are called dream levels -- level 1, 2, 3 and so on. In the movie, there is a machine that can be used to enter somebody else's dreams.
There are multiple technical faults if one tries to analyze the dream-based movie in a scientific manner. For example, on the one hand, they say the rules of physics do not apply in the dreams, and on the other hand, the above-mentioned machine works (and seemingly is needed) in the dreams. Moreover, there are rules to separate dreams from reality. This is called a totem. For example, a spinning top "totem" would keep spinning in the dreams. But this is a fallacy since dreams are not constrained and therefore a top cannot be constrained to keep spinning.
Despite the faults, the movie is an inspiration to consider dreams with an amount of seriousness. The above-mentioned machine, if possible to manufacture, would be useful in the way the movie depicted -- to incept an idea into somebody else's mind by venturing into his or her dream.
Anyway, on this blog I plan to post my dreams with a view of creative writing (my dreams are more creative than me) and taking an iota of serious thought for the dreams.
